Work day on Monday

Remember -- we won't be having class on Monday, March 1.

In lieu of coming to class, you're expected to do preliminary work on your case studies -- identifying theoretical bases that can be applied to the questions.

As always, PLEASE don't hesitate to come to me with any questions or concerns that you have re the case (or anything else). I'll be in my office on Monday, though perhaps not until 9:00 am. You're also welcome to email me any time.

Have a great weekend!

Sick

Dear students,

I'm sick at home today -- trust me, you don't want me to come in... You can always get in touch with me via email if you have questions or concerns.

One of the Faculty Services assistants will be collecting your case studies at the beginning of the period, and I'll probably pick those up and start grading them tomorrow.

If you haven't done so, please submit your cases to TurnItIn before midnight tonight! You'll get a 0 for your case if you don't!

Homework

For Wednesday, Jan 3, you all need to find, print, read, and be ready to discuss the following article:

Belk, Russell (1988), "Possessions and the Extended Self," Journal of Consumer Research.

This is homework, so be prepared! It's a long article, but interesting and well written, so be sure to budget adequate time to go through it and digest it.
